Electronic Technician II, capable of performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the AN/FRT-64 Fixed Very Low Frequency Transmitter. Must be able to troubleshoot to the component level. Anticipate 2 to 3 months of shift work.
This position is located in Hawaii. Relocation assistance is not available - local applicants only.
Required Skills:
*Graduate of a Military Electronics school or equivalent.
*Able to troubleshoot down to the component level.
*Knowledge of single sideband radio transmitter theory.
*Understanding of Programable Logic Cards and their applications.
*Able to solder at the component level.
*Able to use the following test equipment: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Frequency Counters and Hi-pots.
Preferred Skills:
AN/FRT-64 Very Low Frequency Transmitter experience
