The Software Engineer position supports the on-going activities of Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Enterprise Information Management (EIM) applications development and business process automation team. The team develops, supports, and maintains multiple web-based, database-driven applications at the unclassified and US SECRET level for use by a large customer base throughout the Pacific region.

Specific responsibilities of the position are development of SharePoint-based business intelligent dashboards, key performance indicators, and business workflow solutions for PACAF directorates. The position performs software and systems engineering support to enhance PACAF?s collaborative work environment and knowledge management capabilities while developing software to improve efficiency of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) systems, such as Evaluation Management System (EMS), and other SharePoint applications. Primary focus will be development and production support of the Evaluation Management System, as well as other duties as directed by the QAE.

* Enterprise IT solutions A Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline and 4+ years experience in supporting/managing enterprise information management systems.
* An additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Must meet the requirements for DoD Directive 8570.01 Information Assurance Technical Level II (Security +, or comparable IAT Level II certification), have excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work within a team environment

Preferred Skills:

* Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
* Prior experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), XML, C#.NET, SharePoint technologies, ASP.NET, DOD regional headquarters support, CAML and virtualization technologies (VMWare)
