Job Summary:
Software Developer I will provide technical contributions in Information Assurance, develop architectures based on state of the art service standards and technologies, and develop a detailed understanding of emerging and related Information Assurance strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned)
* Provide technical leadership and hands-on technical contributions in Information Assurance
* Develop architectures based on state of the art Web service standards and technologies
* Develop a detailed understanding of emerging and related Information Assurance strategies.
* Lead challenging studies for critical security programs
* Work with team to define and drive future directions of the programs.
* Generate new concepts to address both well known IA issues as well as new gaps discovered during studies.

Education and/or Experience:
* A Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other scientific or technical discipline is required
* The successful candidate must have at least 1 to 3 years of professional technical experience.
* Equivalent combination of knowledge and specialized experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
* Government contract may require person to possess proof of U.S. citizenship
Knowledge:
* Knowledge of applications used on the project.
* Ozone Widget Framework (OWF)
* Programming Web Services and XML applications in Java
* Fluency with JBoss, WebLogic, Axis, or Tomcat
* XML and related technologies including XML Schemas, XSLT, XQuery
* IT security architecture principles and best practices
* Web-services and open-standard architectures
Abilities:
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Excellent critical thinking skills
* Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
Clearance: TS/SCI required, Full Scope preferred, with position contingent upon succesful completion of Full Scope Polygraph.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None for this position.
