This position will work under the general guidance and supervision of the Travel Clerk Lead to provide Personal Property Pre-counseling Worksheet service to Government service members.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to: provides required documentation and schedules future appointment(s) for personal property counseling; logs appointments in office tracker system and provides appointment slip to customer; accepts, reviews and files appropriate appointment packet in appointment file cabinet for assigned counselors; greets walk-in customers and provides pre-counseling service; mails, faxes or scan & emails forms to customers on the same day requested by either fax or phone; answers questions, in person or by phone, on entitlements and services, provides information about services directly related to the Personal Property and Travel and assists with the preparation of shipment worksheets, or storage worksheets; prepares government travel slips or packets for Lead, Supervisor or Manager signature/initial approval; prepares Shipment Change Slips for submission to JPPSO-HI for all corrections, additions, deletions, and cancellations to original shipment(s).

Required Skills:
Duties are typically performed in an office environment. Will be required to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, lift, carry and walk periodically throughout the workday. Will also be required to perform housekeeping of work areas. This position may be expected to work overtime periodically when required. Work hours and work location may, with proper notification, be adjusted to include shift work to meet contract requirements. May be assigned to support contract support requirements in a job-related area such as environmental, safety, cross training and security.

Must have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Have related work experience
Proficiency with computer applications to include MS Office suite
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with people
Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to research and explain regulations, policies and procedures
Ability to obtain/maintain the security clearance required for the position
