JOB DESCRIPTION: This person reports to the Division Chief and will perform administrative and operational duties, to include but not limited to, execution of required testing, required for operator licensing and managing and retaining all documentation related to the testing and licensing process.

Essential job function include conducting classroom training sessions, administering drivers and equipment performance testing for civilian and government personnel applying for new and renewing permits to drive or operate government-owned or leased vehicles; research training/safety sources and ensuring testing materials are ordered, received, secured and accounted for; develops and updates lesson plans and course materials; organizes and interprets instructional material; reviews fundamental and basic skills for occupations such as fuel handler, forklift and RTCH operations in addition to heavy equipment movers and material handling assessments; conducts physical evaluation test to ensure all operators of government motor vehicles possess the minimum physical requirements for safe driving and maintain office records/files, drivers licensing ledgers and workload data for historical purposes; preparing reports and general housekeeping of the work area. Must be able to perform job assignments independently while having the ability to work in a team environment.

Additional duties may be assigned to support contract requirements in a job related area such as environmental, assisting the BAE Safety as the TMP Safety Officer. May be cross-utilized in other job areas, as needed. Duties are normally performed in an office environment, but may be required to spend time outside under various environmental conditions. On occasion, may be required to lift heavy and/or cumbersome equipment. Assist in up keeping of the warehouse.

This position is located in Hawaii. Relocation assistance is not available - local applicants only.

Required Skills:
Must be a high school graduate
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Have ability to be able to communicate and work effectively with people and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Must possess a current Driver's License including Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) and P and X endorsements, forklift certified, be able to operate vehicles with up to five forward speeds and up to six driving wheels.
Must be able to successfully complete the Material Handling Equipments Training Certification Course, Fuel Handlers Certification Course and pass a physical examination.
Must be familiar with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation's Rules and Regulations.
