THIS POSITION WILL BE AN EMPLOYEE OF THE ANSALDO JOINT VENTURE (JV) IN HONOLULU

Ansaldo Honolulu JV is currently seeking a planner to support our Honolulu project.

1. This planner must have good technical skills with Primavera and Microsoft Project.
2. Must be able to assist the Program/Project Controllers with CBS/WBS Earned Value Management reporting against actuals in a schedule that is under execution. This would include positively interacting with project teams to gather hard data on progress, level of effort, cost to complete estimates and cost loading data into schedules to support analyses.
3. Preferably, capability to identify program critical path risks/conflicts and solutions to avoid or overcome them.
4. Be able to incorporate the necessary quality processes with accurate forecasts into a program. This would include proper planning, design, construction and commissioning processes and internal/external audits.
5. The ability to lead/mentor a team of schedulers if required and develop their planning capabilities so that there is depth in the team in case of his/her illness or absence.
6. Must be fluent in English. Being fluent in Italian is beneficial but not required
7. 2-3 years of job experiences in similar position
8. Engineering or related degree required

Local Hawaii candidates are preferred as relocation will not be offered for this position.
