The Payment Posting Specialist processes and reconciles patient and insurance payments. Issues receipts for all payments, prepares daily bank deposits, and maintains the operating cash fund.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent.

Preferred: Medical terminology course. One year cashiering or clerical experience in a health care, insurance, or bank setting. Experience in payment posting in a health care, insurance, or bank setting. Skill in 10-key by touch. Ability to enter data into computer programs. Basic math skills. Ability to maintain filing systems.
