Patient Registrar - Honolulu
Job Duties:

Responsible for ensuring prompt and accurate pre-registration and/or registrations of all inpatient and outpatient clinical patients. Verifies eligibility, insurance benefit(s) and obtains applicable referral(s), pre-authorization(s) or authorization(s) within the set timeframes. Coordinates financial assistance when needed. Collaborates with clinics to verify patient demographic and financial data. Obtains patient consent for treatment and applicable signatures and completes all payor regulatory forms. Disseminates information to other departments.

Skills/Experience:

At least 3 years in a business office setting. High speed, accurate data entry skills. Well organized and systematic in work process. Excellent customer service skills.
