Online Intern - Writer
HONOLULU Magazine s digital media manager is looking for interns each semester to assist with writing for the honolulumagazine.com website. The position will be for 16-20 hours a week and mustbe for school credit only. This internship is a great way to see what it is like to work in a fast-pace monthly magazine environment, while working alongside the editors of HONOLULU Magazine.
Duties consist of writing web exclusive stories for our online readers, which will include pitching stories, setting up interviews and writing articles at about 300-500 words each. The position may also involve assisting with other web and/or editorial tasks.
Qualifications:
- Someone who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in English or Journalism
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Some experience preferred
