Job Summary: Manage and coordinate the immigration process for the entire organization. Plan, develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies for assigned departments with special emphasis on a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Compile reports and analyze data/trends to identify improvement areas. Develop strategies to enhance the current processes or to address any issues discovered. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Immigration: * Manage and coordinate the immigration process with employees, management and legal counsel (this includes, but is not limited to case preparation for temporary and permanent visa petitions and applications, work authorization, and client verification letters). Track and monitor all cases to ensure all deadlines are met with regards to renewals and filing dates. Work directly with visa candidates to resolve employee inquiries and be able to communicate and align employee expectations to the current immigration environment. Leverage legal counsel when necessary. * Monitor and track associated immigration costs to ensure budgetary parameters are maintained. * Evaluate the effectiveness of the immigration processes/practices and provides recommendations for adjustments to ensure alignment with the Organizations objectives. * Keeps apprised of changes to immigration laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance. * Provides guidance to organization concerning interpretation of immigration practices and guidelines. 2. Reporting and Analysis: * Develop and analyze statistical data and other reports concerning all aspects of the employment function in order to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and to present recommendations to improve the employment policies, processes, and practices. * Prepare EEO/AAP requirements and maintain compliance with government agencies. Recognizes and examines potential areas of equal employment or diversity problems, clarifies and resolves issues. Compile ad hoc and standard reports for EEO, AAP and/or other related HR functions. * Completes metrics, reporting and analytics. 3. Talent Acquisition: * Execute and develop recruitment strategies by aggressively recruiting for well-qualified candidates from a variety of sources, managing the selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening and recommending finalists, and filling the staffing needs within the defined service and performance criteria. * Identify and recommend potential applicants for positions throughout the organization, not only assigned areas. * Assist managers in developing appropriate assessment and selection methods for applicants through research and follow-up activities. 4. Other duties/functions: * Performs other duties as assigned; assists Recruitment Supervisor in all aspects of functional area. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor s Degree and three years of Immigration, Legal, Human Resources or related compliance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Able to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information. 3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 4. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 5. Strong analytical skills. 6. Excellent time management, interpersonal, organization, decision-making, and planning skills. 7. Able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities flexibly.
