The Health & Public Service operating group serves government organizations around the globe, as well as foundations, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and non-profit enterprises.

Accenture's Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

The Federal Financial Senior Consultant will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will primarily support the project's business process documentation and internal control testing efforts. The team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of finance business processes, internal controls, and Financial Management Systems in support of our clients' efforts to produce auditable financial statements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 5 years of functional experience including any of the following: Process design/re-engineering, training design & delivery, internal control testing
* 1 year of Federal Government Finance/Accounting or Budgeting Experience
* 3 months of experience with Fleet Forces Command
* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
* 1 year of experience with MS Office
* 6 months experience with Visio
* Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Government clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with ERP Core Financials modules

DoD Finance Experience

Consulting experience

Audit Experience

*
CPA

*
CGFM/CDFM

*
PMP

*
Understanding of government acquisition, financial management and logistics operations

Professional Skills:
