About the Business Line Environment Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
Job Description
Our office in Honolulu Hawaii is seeking an Environmental Scientist. General tasks would include assisting upper level professionals in data collection field activities including: soil sample collection; groundwater sampling; borehole logging; and directing subcontractors. Office duties would include summarizing data collected in the field, evaluation of field and chemical data, tabulation and evaluation of data, and analyzing project-specific data; for more senior personnel. In addition, duties would also include preparation, tabulation and evaluation of data and summarizing field efforts in reports for submittal to clients and participation in and preparation of materials for project meetings. The qualified candidate must have 1-2 years experience in environmental consulting. Must be familiar with EPA DQO process. Should have familiarity with HIDOH and U.S. EPA regulations and guidance. Experience working for DOD is a plus. Must have a B.S. in an Environmental Related Discipline (geology, environmental science).
