Responsibilities

DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Identifies, investigates, analyzes and facilitates funding, engineering, site preparations and logistic requirements in support of equipment installations. Provides technical engineering guidance and technical assistance on multiple assigned systems. Investigates, analyzes, and resolves problems pertaining to the system design, installation, maintenance, operation or repair of these assigned systems. Performs the necessary coordination and consultation to assist and/or correct system problems.

Develops engineering design plans for conducting onsite equipment installations. Conducts technical reviews and oversee contractor work for new installation, design modification, and complete overhaul of production of systems. Provides project management support for electronic equipment installation including estimating, resource management, planning, execution, tracking and contract oversight and administration.

Provide quality control and assurance on system installation projects that complies with National Electric Code, site security, and site installation standards. Provide technical guidance and training to installation teams as required.

Provide progress reports on assigned tasks to project manager, customer, and command leadership. Prepares technical reports on completed technical assignments to project manager, customers and command leadership regarding completed project work, presenting results, conclusions, and recommendations. Participates in preparing and delivering the technical presentations for the project sponsors.

Qualifications/Experience

The selected individual must possess extensive knowledge of Electrical Engineering technology and principles. Possess an understanding of network architecture and IT technology. The selected individual must possess good written and verbal communications skills and be able to work closely with a wide range of technical managers. Must have experience in National, DOD, and NSA IT installation standards. Must have project management skills.

High School diploma and 10 years of experience or an Associate's degree and 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

Sallary is commensurate with education and experience.

Salary Range $46,139 - $86,982
