Job Summary
In addition to performing all Transportation responsibilities, this position will also provide onsite support assisting management with day to day operations. Provides a positive example for the team and supports management decisions and initiatives on the front line. Ensures all locations and guest experiences meet company expectations as well as maintains the integrity of sales operations according to set tour rules, company policies and departmental procedures. Position is also responsible for conducting team meetings, completing daily/monthly reports of other relevant paperwork and any other miscellaneous tasks as requested by management.
Basic Qualifications
Able to execute all aspects of the Transportation responsibilities, driver, greeter, dispatch and PM shift.
Provides leadership, support and training to Transportation and other support services team members.
Assists associates in achieving quality guest service and provides assistance to guests with complaints
Conducts informational, motivational and/or training meetings with team members
Assist management in reviewing and improving desk operations and efficiency
Assist management in maintaining and enhancing good work relations with customers, employees and management
Submit orders for food, beverage and miscellaneous items as necessary
Work various shifts and locations on a rotation schedule-days off not overlapping with management
Maintain a positive attitude with everyone while on property
Develop professional relationships with both hotel and HGVC staff and adhere to protocol standards as established by the Hotel General Manager and your HGVC staff
Preferred Qualifications
Address guests and team members using both Japanese and English language skills acceptable in a business environment.
Manage multiple tasks and assignments and demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast paced work environment.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Demonstrate basic computer skills, type 30 WPM and 10-key ability.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance priorities
Ability to work a flexible working schedule, including weekends, holidays early mornings and evenings.
High school graduation is required. Two years of college or equivalent experience in a business or retail environment is preferred.
