Wilcox Memorial Hospital is the largest medical facility on Kaua i and is recognized as one of the nation s best small hospitals. It provides acute care and a full suite of services including emergency care, OB?GYN, pediatrics, cardiology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, pulmonology, nephrology, cosmetic surgery, internal medicine, and family practice. In 2010 the Women s Center opened, offering preventative and diagnostic care for Kaua i s women.

Just as Kaua i s families have relied on Wilcox Memorial Hospital as a community resource, this nonprofit hospital relies on philanthropic support from its ohana of donors. As the physicians, nurses and staff continue to serve the people of Hawai i, and provide exceptional medical care, philanthropic support is vital to fulfill this important mission.

We are looking for an Associate Director for Philanthropy to develop and implement a philanthropy program in support of Hawaii Pacific Health's capital campaign priorities for the Wilcox Health Foundation on the Island of Kauai.

Hawai i Pacific Health is Hawai i s largest health care system including a network of four hospitals, 44 outpatient clinics & service sites, and over 1,300 dedicated physicians across the state. We are 5,400+ caring employees strongly committed to health care excellence. Our facilities include: Kapi olani Medical Center for Women and Children, Pali Momi Medical Center, Straub Clinic and Hospital and Wilcox Memorial Hospital.

Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Five years fundraising/marketing experience developing complex gifts and managing volunteer groups. Project/event management expertise.

Preferred: Sales and/or non-profit fundraising experience related to healthcare.
