The Advertising Specialist assists in creating print ad copy for the weekly sale items. The responsibilities include desktop publishing, proof reading, and verifying accuracy of advertised items to actual products in stock.

Job Description: The Advertising Specialist is responsible for but not limited to:
Layout weekly print ads and value books with the InDesign program
Prepares the Ad List using Excel
Utilizes creative Photoshop and Illustrator programs to handle product images for the ad
Works with the vendor community to obtain samples or digital product images
Works with Procurement and Marketing teams to ensure accurate print ads

Requirements: Qualifications for the Advertising Specialist Position:
Knowledge of the following Mac programs are highly preferred but not required
InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel and Word
Attention to detail while maintaining speed & accuracy
Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Overtime is expected during the Christmas season
Good communication skills to work with different departments in the RBO as well as with the vendor community
Must be a team player and can work in a group environment
