Position Overview
Bank of Hawaii's 2012 Summer Intern
Bank of Hawaii's Summer Internship program will provide the student with an opportunity to develop their business knowledge by having meaningful hands on experience and networking opportunities. Various departments will be hosting an intern for the 2012 summer.
During the 8-12 week Summer Internship program, students will:
* Work closely with a mentor and/or advisor
* Explore career opportunities
* Participate in professional development curriculum
* Attend company sponsored networking events
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education
* Enrolled in an academic institution with a major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
* Students within their Junior or Senior year of college are preferred
Experience
* One year of work experience or equivalent (volunteer work, school/student activities, leadership roles, etc.)
Technical Skills
* Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, word processing, familiarity with spreadsheets and databases
Other Job Qualifications
* Ability to follow directions and add value, and complete tasks as assigned
